A Sodus man was arrested on June 30 after a domestic incident involving a child.
Deputies arrested Lavern A. Leach, 58, on Maple Avenue. Leach is accused of menacing a child under 17 with a large tree limb and threatening to use a firearm against the child.
Leach was taken to Wayne County Jail and awaits arraignment. He will appear in the Village of Sodus Court at a later date.
