A Waterloo woman and teen under 13 years old face several charges after the child was found in possession of nunchucks.
Joanna L. Stagner, 34, was arrested for child endangerment and weapons possession after allegedly allowing a juvenile in her care to possess nunchucks, which were then given to another juvenile and turned over to an adult.
Stagner faces additional charges of child endangerment for failing to properly supervise a minor, leading to repeated delinquent behavior. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court on August 7.
Meanwhile, the teen, whose name has been withheld due to age, was found with nunchucks in a public space. The juvenile gave the nunchucks to another teen, who then turned them over to their parent.
The young suspect received a juvenile appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at the Seneca County Probation Department on July 3.
