Sabres bring back defenseman Kale Clague on two-way contract

The Buffalo Sabres announced Friday that they have brought back defenseman Kale Clague on a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000.

Clague, 26, spent most of his time with the Rochester Americans last season, where he appeared in 42 games, tallying 23 points on three goals and 20 assists. His 20 assists ranked second among all Amerks defensemen.
