The hot and humid weather in the Finger Lakes has finally given way to cooler temperatures, thanks to a cold front that passed through Sunday night.
Monday’s high will reach only the low 70s across most of the region. Expect clouds and showers through early afternoon, accompanied by a gusty northwest wind up to 25 mph, making it feel like an early fall day.
However, the cooler weather will be short-lived. Temperatures will climb back into the mid-80s on Tuesday, with higher humidity and a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday. By Thursday, the region will see a return to drier, pleasant early summer weather with highs in the 70s.
