Authorities say a Livonia man was taken into custody in Ontario County on serious charges related to a hate crime.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Raphael Cratsley, 51, of Livonia on June 18 for Criminal Contempt in the First Degree as a hate crime. Cratsley had repeatedly violated a court order issued on May 19, leading to the felony charge.
Cratsley was taken into custody without incident at a business on Big Tree Street and transported to Ontario County Jail. He was arraigned with bail set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. Cratsley posted bail and was released. He is scheduled to reappear in Richmond Town Court to answer the charge.
