Three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a two-car crash on Sunday afternoon in the town of Aurelius.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Routes 5&20 near Veterans Memorial Parkway, close to Auburn. One car was severely damaged, and the other flipped upside down.
New York State Police said the crash happened when one car ran a red light and hit another car turning left. The injuries included cuts and broken fingers. Traffic was diverted for a few hours after the accident, according to Dave Perkins of the Aurelius Volunteer Fire Department.
