Authorities have arrested a 55-year-old Gorham man following a hit-and-run in Canandaigua.
Steven E. Roat, 55, of Gorham, was arrested on May 16 for driving while intoxicated, according to deputies.
Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies stopped Roat’s truck on State Route 247 after observing it driving southbound. The investigation revealed he was intoxicated, leading to his arrest.
Roat received traffic tickets for DWI and driving with a BAC of .08% or higher. He is scheduled to appear in Gorham Town Court to address the charges.
