The 31st Annual Waterfront Festival and Cardboard Boat Regatta will take place on Saturday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Seneca Harbor Park in Watkins Glen.
The festival, which kicks off summer, will feature family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and the famous Cardboard Boat Regatta at 2 p.m. The event includes food, craft, and nonprofit vendors, free family activities like face painting and games, and a live performance by 5 Man Trio from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“This event has been a cherished tradition for 31 years, bringing our community together,” said Laurie DeNardo, Chair of the Waterfront Festival Committee and Mayor of Watkins Glen. Attendees can see the boats and vote for their favorites before the regatta. Applications for the boat race are still available at watkinsglen.com.
