The Schuyler County Historical Society’s Brick Tavern Museum celebrated its 50th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday at 108 N. Catharine Street.
The event featured speeches from notable guests including Alyssa Denger from the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce, Sara Lattin from State Senator Tom O’Mara’s office, Montour Falls Mayor Jim Ryan, and the Society’s Executive Director, Heather O’Grady-Evans.
O’Grady-Evans received a State Legislature proclamation from Lattin to honor the museum’s milestone. She praised the founders and supporters of the museum, stating, “We’re just getting started.”
