The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday, June 5, will be worth an estimated $185 million after no one matched all six numbers in Monday night’s $173 million drawing.
Monday’s winning numbers were:
- NUMBERS: 19-29-35-36-45
- POWERBALL: 16
- POWER PLAY: 2x
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, according to Powerball.com. The jackpot had previously reset after a player in Florida won $215 million on May 6. Before that, a player in Oregon won $1.3 billion on April 6, the fourth-largest jackpot in Powerball history.
The largest Powerball jackpot ever, $2.04 billion, was won by a player in California on November 7. Powerball has had five jackpots exceeding $1 billion.
The jackpot continues to grow until someone matches all six numbers, including the Powerball.
