Gretchen’s Confections and Café, a beloved chocolate shop and café, will close its doors in Auburn this week as it prepares to move to Marcellus.
The shop, located at 27 E. Genesee St. since November 2018, announced the move on social media Monday.
The Auburn location’s last day of operation will be Saturday, June 8. “We are immensely appreciative of how Auburn has embraced us over the past six years,” the owners said. “We cherish you all and the memories we have created.”
Gretchen’s will reopen at 4 E. Main St. in Marcellus, the former site of Riseform Brewing Co., on Monday, July 1, or possibly sooner.
