Two Syracuse women face charges after Junius larceny investigation

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two Syracuse women following a theft in progress at a business in the town of Junius. Deputies responded to the call on May 23 around 7:30 p.m. and detained the suspects, recovering the stolen merchandise.

Nakaysha I. Huggins, 25, and Lychanelle D. Coleman, 28, were arrested at approximately 8:08 p.m.. Huggins was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, aggravated unlicensed operation, and multiple traffic violations. Coleman faced charges of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and possession of burglar’s tools.

Both women were transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for processing and later released on appearance tickets. They are scheduled to appear in Junius Town Court on June 18, 2024, at 6:00 PM to address the charges.
