Penn Yan man faces felony menacing charge after brandishing knife during incident

Robert J. Murk, 58, of Penn Yan, was arrested by Penn Yan Police after a physical dispute in the village. The incident occurred at 8:44 PM, during which Murk allegedly brandished a serrated knife at another resident and subjected two individuals to unwanted physical contact.

Murk was charged with first-degree menacing, a class E felony, and two counts of harassment. Following his arrest, Murk was transported to the Yates County Jail to await centralized arraignment.
