Arcadia man faces charges after trying to drive away with woman hanging out of vehicle

Deputies say an Arcadia man was taken into custody after a domestic incident during the early-morning hours on Friday.

Joseph C. Lamb, a 37-year-old man from the Town of Arcadia, was arrested on charges of second-degree reckless endangerment after a domestic incident in Palmyra on the morning of May 10th. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest following the altercation, which occurred inside Lamb’s vehicle.

According to authorities, Lamb and his girlfriend were involved in a heated argument. As she attempted to exit the vehicle, Lamb allegedly accelerated while she was still partially inside, putting her at significant risk of serious injury.

Lamb was detained and taken to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment later that day. A protective order was requested on behalf of the victim to ensure her safety following the incident.
