This marks a 25-cent rise from last month, reflecting a steady upward trend in fuel costs.
Over the past year, gas prices in the state have fluctuated, hitting a low of $3.11 per gallon on January 22, 2024, and peaking at $3.86 on August 14, 2023. Comparatively, a year ago, the average gas price was 2% lower at $3.58 per gallon.
Nationally, the average gas price last week was $3.64, slightly higher than the state average, with a 0.2% difference. This shows a small decrease from the previous week’s national average of $3.65 per gallon, highlighting the slight variations in gas price trends across the country.
