Cayuga County man faces felony charge after domestic incident: Held on $4,000 bail

Sheriff Brian Schenck reported that Cayuga County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic incident in the Town of Summerhill on the evening of April 28th. Upon their arrival, it was discovered that Kevin R. Gulliver was in violation of an Order of Protection by allegedly threatening physical harm to the victim.


Gulliver was arrested and charged with first-degree Criminal Contempt, a felony. He was processed at the Public Safety Building before being taken to court the following morning. At his court appearance on April 29th, Gulliver was granted bail, which was set at $4,000 cash or $8,000 bond. He subsequently posted bail and was released.

The case is ongoing, and Gulliver is expected to return to the Town of Summerhill Court at a future date. The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone with additional information about the incident to contact them directly or leave a tip via their website.
