The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of an Arcadia man on charges of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon. Anthony L. Santiago, 41, was apprehended after deputies responded to a report of a man unresponsive in a vehicle on Ryder Road in the Town of Arcadia.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered Santiago in an intoxicated state while operating the vehicle. During the investigation, they also found Santiago in possession of a switchblade knife. Santiago refused to undergo a chemical blood test to determine his alcohol level.
Santiago was processed and released with appearance tickets. He is scheduled to appear in Arcadia Town Court on June 26, 2024, at 3:00 PM to face the charges.
