The New York Lottery announced a top-prize winning ticket from the TAKE 5 midday drawing on May 2 was sold in Webster.
The lucky ticket, worth $20,126.50, was purchased at Wegmans #66 located at 900 Holt Road. TAKE 5 lottery numbers are selected from a pool of 1 to 39, with drawings broadcast twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
This win adds to the excitement surrounding the New York Lottery, which is known as the largest and most profitable lottery in North America. In the fiscal year 2022-2023, it contributed $3.7 billion to support educational initiatives throughout New York State.
Lottery winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
