Powerball jackpot will hit estimated $203M after no winner Wednesday

The Powerball jackpot has soared to an estimated $203 million as no participants matched all six numbers in the latest $180 million drawing on Wednesday night, May 1. The next chance for lottery players to win will be on Saturday, May 4. The numbers drawn on Wednesday were 1, 11, 19, 21, and 68, with a Powerball of 15 and a Power Play option of 2x.

This surge in the jackpot follows a series of significant wins, including a $1.3 billion prize claimed by a player in Oregon on April 6, which ranked as the fourth largest in the game’s history. Previously, the Powerball jackpot had reset after substantial wins in Michigan and California, where players won $842.2 million and $1.73 billion respectively.

With the odds of winning the jackpot at about 1 in 292.2 million, Powerball continues to offer life-changing prizes. The game has seen its jackpot surpass $1 billion on five occasions, highlighting the high stakes and nationwide excitement it generates.
