Marin reportedly struck a victim in the face while in a vehicle and then proceeded to slash the vehicle’s tire.

The confrontation violated two existing orders of protection between Marin and the victim, leading to charges of criminal contempt in the first degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, and harassment in the second degree.

After being taken into custody, Marin exhibited further aggressive behavior at the police station by punching a wall, which resulted in additional charges of criminal mischief and obstructing governmental administration.

He also required medical treatment for injuries to his hand caused during the incident.

Marin was subsequently transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment, where an additional order of protection was requested to safeguard the victim.
