Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson announced the arrest of Tysean J. Harris, 47, from Junius on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal mischief. The arrest occurred early Monday morning in the Town of Junius.

According to reports, Harris was charged after he allegedly failed to return a borrowed vehicle to its owner by the agreed-upon time last Saturday and stopped communicating for over 24 hours. The vehicle was eventually returned on Monday but was found to have sustained damage.

Harris was taken into custody without incident and was held at the corrections division.
