Arcadia man skipped court for stealing vehicle, child endangerment, and criminal mischief

Deputies arrested an Arcadia man on several charges over the weekend after a bench warrant was discovered.

Robert Wells Jr., 32, of Arcadia was wanted in Newark for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal mischief, and harassment.

He was originally wanted for those charges out of the village of Newark.

The bench warrant for failure to appear was discovered during an unrelated investigation in Wayne County, deputies said.

He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing.
