Saunders Finger Lakes Museum receives $2M in federal grant and welcomes new trustees

The Saunders Finger Lakes Museum (SFLM) has received a significant boost with a $2 million federal grant and the addition of two new board members, signaling a period of robust growth for the institution. The grant, part of an Agriculture-FDA appropriations bill championed by Sen. Chuck Schumer in 2023, was approved in early March 2024, providing substantial financial support for the museum’s initiatives.

Eileen Feinman and Don Budmen have joined the SFLM Board of Trustees, bringing a wealth of experience in educational administration and legal counsel, respectively.
