Deputies took a Geneva man into custody at the Best Value Inn in Geneva over the weekend after a domestic incident.
It happened Saturday, When Akeem Jhamal Whitfield, 19, was found at a residence in violation of a court order.
Deputies said Whitfield was at a residence of a protected party on an order of protection.
He was charged with contempt and will answer the charge at a later date in local court.
