Aaron Judge crushed his first home run of the season and had a run-scoring double. Alex Verdugo smacked his first home run as a Yankee, while Jon Berti scored a run on a balk.
Carlos Rodón allowed a pair of runs over 5.1 innings in his second start of the season. Ian Hamilton recorded eight outs and struck out four. Jonathan Loáisiga and Caleb Ferguson had scoreless outings, while Clay Holmes gave up three unearned runs.
The Yankees will get the day off on Thursday before they take on the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday at 1:05 p.m. in their home opener. Marcus Stroman will take the ball.
