Upgrades coming to Seneca Falls Community Center

Seneca Falls is on the move to enhance its Community Center, utilizing part of a $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant awarded by New York State in 2020. The town aims to improve the facilities at the Community Center located at 35 Water St., contributing to the area’s development.

Construction bids for site improvements at the Community Center are being solicited, with a deadline for submission set for March 19 at 2 p.m. The project includes the addition of a concrete skate park, steel-framed skate park structures, an aluminum kayak launch, new sidewalks, fencing, gates, and a basketball court. The bid opening will occur at the Municipal Building on 130 Ovid St.

Bidding documents are available for examination or collection at the Town Clerk’s office and Rotolite-Elliott Corp. in Pittsford. Interested parties can access these documents for a $100 fee or view them online for a non-refundable payment. This initiative represents a significant investment in community recreation and development in Seneca Falls.
