Deputies: Newark woman faces felony charge in Geneva after filing inaccurate documents

Deputies say a Newark woman faces a felony charge after an investigation into public assistance fraud.

Ana Aguilera Garcia, 33, is accused of failing to list the father of her child on public assistance applications or childcare assistance applications while he was living with her.

As result, she was charged with offering a false instrument for filing in Ontario County. At the time, she was living in Geneva, deputies said in a release.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
