Deputies arrested a Canandaigua resident following an investigation on State Route 96.
Larry VanWinkle, 52, of Canandaigua was arrested for first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, after probation called for an assist at a location on State Route 96.
Upon investigation it was determined that he was in violation of an order of protection issued in Manchester Town Court.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
