Pete Mitchell, a veteran in the local restaurant business, is stepping away after 45 years, selling most of his renowned Parker’s Grille and Tap House locations and other eateries.
This transition leaves him with only the Parker’s in Newark, which he plans to keep. Since opening the first Parker’s in Geneva in 1996, Mitchell has expanded the popular brand across New York, with the most recent opening in Penn Yan in 2021.
The Parker’s in Seneca Falls has already been sold to longtime bartender Jim Hendrickson, who intends to maintain the successful formula with minimal changes. He was a guest this week on The Relentless Podcast talking about the change.
Mitchell has also arranged sales for his other Parker’s locations and Halsey’s, passing them to new owners who share his passion for the restaurant industry.
