Syracuse blown out in road loss to No. 7 North Carolina (full coverage)

The Syracuse Orange traveled to Chapel Hill and got blown out by No. 7 North Carolina, 103-67, on Saturday afternoon, falling to 11-5 on the season and 2-3 in the conference.

It was Syracuse’s first loss by more than 30 points since December 2016, and the team’s worst loss in ACC play.

The Orange shot just 29% in the first half and trailed by 22 at halftime and it continued into the second half, resulting in the 36-point loss.

Three players finished in double figures for the Orange. Judah Mintz led the way with 21 points, Quadir Copeland poured in 16, and Chris Bell added 13.
