WINTER RETURNS: How much snow fell in the Finger Lakes? Photos and video from around the region

The Finger Lakes region’s first winter storm of the season is in the books. It brought a fair amount of snow to many, but didn’t leave so much that travel was impossible. Even in harder hit communities in Central New York – travel remained doable despite some travel advisories. All that said, forecasting from the National Weather Service tracked with what most saw across the region. Those who were in Winter Weather Advisories saw less snowfall than locations where Winter Storm Warnings had been issued.
