The Seneca Falls Police Department reported the arrest of a Syracuse man on Friday, January 5 around 6:30 p.m. after a roadside investigation.
According to a news release, David Kerwin, 41, was arrested after being observed driving erratically by a citizen.
That citizen reported that Kerwin drove into oncoming traffic and was all over the road.
Officers located him after the citizen complaint in the Burger King parking lot and was found to be intoxicated.
He was arrested for DWI, but the charges were elevated to felony status due to two prior convictions of driving while intoxicated. Police said Kerwin was issued other citations, too.
An appearance ticket was issued and the charges will be answered in town court at a later date.
