The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a 27-year-old following a disturbance in a parking lot at a local business.
According to police, Devin Meacham-Wheeler, 27, got into a verbal altercation with employees and another male in that business’ parking lot. They say the altercation escalated and Meacham-Wheeler pulled an object from his pocket and came after the victim while yelling.
The victim then fled into his vehicle and began to drive away when Meacham-Wheeler attempted to open the door and punched the window out in an attempt to get the victim.
The victim and employees were ultimately unharmed in the incident. However, Meacham-Wheeler was charged with third-degree menacing and released on an appearance ticket.
The charge will be answered at a later date in local court.
