Tompkins Insurance Agencies has reinforced its commitment to employee development and client service by creating the new role of a training-team leader, appointing industry veteran Katelyn Fowler to the position.
In her new role, Fowler will be responsible for onboarding new commercial insurance account managers and executives, aligning them with the company’s standards of excellence. She will also continuously update and train current employees on evolving client service practices. Based in Ithaca, Fowler will work across the agency’s offices in Central New York, Western New York, and Southeast Pennsylvania.
Fowler brings over 15 years of experience in commercial insurance to the role, including a decade at Tompkins Insurance Agencies where she previously served as a commercial lines marketing specialist. Her recent tenure at Reagan Companies as a commercial lines marketing manager has honed her skills in managing teams and handling carrier relations.
Kim Nevinger, Vice President and Commercial Insurance Department Manager at Tompkins, expressed confidence in Fowler’s ability to excel in this new position. The role is expected to enhance team efficiency and client service consistency, reflecting Tompkins Insurance Agencies’ dedication to providing top-tier services to its commercial clients.
