ChargeSmart EV welcomes three new team members, expanding workforce and footprint

ChargeSmart EV, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of three new team members, further solidifying the company’s commitment to growth and expanding its reach. James Smith, Bob Cronyn, and Grant Stokoe have joined the ChargeSmart EV team, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise in the EV industry.

James Smith has been appointed as a Territory Sales Manager. Hailing from Rochester, NY, Smith will be responsible for providing EV charging solutions in the Rochester, Syracuse, and North Country territories. With a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from North Carolina Wesleyan University, as well as completing the MPA Program at Hilbert College Buffalo, Smith is well-equipped to drive sales and expand ChargeSmart EV’s presence in the region.

Bob Cronyn has also joined the ChargeSmart team as a Territory Sales Manager. Cronyn, who was previously associated with Chemical Distributors, Inc., will play a crucial role in preparing infrastructure for future and current electric vehicles. A resident of Buffalo, NY, Cronyn attended SUNY Empire State College and the United States Army Airborne School. With his dedication to family and community, Cronyn is excited to contribute to ChargeSmart EV’s mission. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, snowboarding, and coaching soccer at East Amherst.

Grant Stokoe assumes the role of EV Support Specialist. Stokoe, residing in Rochester, NY, previously worked with BorgWarner in Ithaca, NY. In his new role, he will manage the CSEV network, organize customer portal training, and oversee station installations. With a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability from St. John Fisher University and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Systems from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Stokoe brings a deep understanding of environmental responsibility to his role. He is actively involved in coaching cross country and track and field at St. John Fisher and volunteers with various organizations, including Loaves and Fishes, The Oak Tree Half Marathon, and ChargeMakersHub in South Africa.
