The quick work of firefighters in the town of Rose likely saved a home from becoming a complete loss.
A structure fire that started in the area of a Chimney in the town of Rose prompted a response from first responders in Clyde-Galen and Rose on November 19.
The home was filling with smoke, according to initial calls to 911.

When units arrived on-scene they began pulling the ceiling, which allowed firefighters to extinguish the blaze before it could spread beyond that point.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
