Authorities arrested a Galen woman on serious charges after a vehicle theft from a residence there.
Deputies arrested Charlotte Furman, 54, for criminal trespass and criminal possession of stolen property. The charges stem from an investigation into a vehicle larceny that happened on Friday.
Deputies said a vehicle, valued at over $5,000 was stolen from a residence in Galen, then located in a parking lot in Lyons.
She was processed on the charges and will appear in local court at a later date.
