On Thursday, October 26 the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a specialized workshop aimed at educating businesses on safeguarding their digital assets.
Scheduled from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Seneca County Health & Senior Services Building auditorium, located at 2465 Bonadent Drive, Suite 4, the session will tackle pressing issues such as hacking, phishing, and the various vulnerabilities that businesses face online.
Kieran McManus, the proprietor of McManus IT Solutions based in Union Springs, will be the keynote speaker. McManus plans to share invaluable insights on how businesses can defend their digital platforms – ranging from computers and servers to social media profiles – against hackers and other cyber threats. As cyberattacks become increasingly prevalent, with tactics like deceitful links sent via emails or messages, this session seeks to arm businesses with strategies to counteract such threats.
Those interested in attending or seeking more details about the chamber or its range of services can contact the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce at (315) 568-2906 or visit their website at www.senecachamber.org.
