UR Medicine Thompson Health welcomes two physicians to new internal medicine office

Dr. Wilfredo Cruz and Dr. Reihaneh Derafsh have recently integrated into UR Medicine Thompson Health, extending their medical expertise at the newly inaugurated internal medicine office at Thompson Medical Center in Farmington. Both esteemed physicians are making a transition from their previous positions at FLH Medical PC & Clifton Springs in Geneva, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to their new roles.

Dr. Cruz and Dr. Derafsh are distinguished in their field, holding medical degrees from the renowned Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and having completed their residencies at Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Both are board-certified in Internal Medicine and are members of prestigious organizations including the American Board of Internal Medicine, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, and the American College of Physicians. In addition to English, they are fluent in Spanish, and Dr. Derafsh has proficiency in Farsi as well, broadening the scope of communication with diverse patient demographics.
