Garrett Shrader ran for 195 yards and four touchdowns, leading Syracuse to a 35-20 victory over Purdue on Saturday night at Ross-Ade Stadium.
With the win, the Orange are off to a 3-0 start for the second straight season.
LeQuint Allen caught six passes for 62 yards and carried the ball 17 times for 80 yards, including a touchdown.
The Syracuse defense forced five turnovers, including four fumbles. Terry Lockett recovered two fumbles while Leon Lowery and Derek McDonald each secured one. Marlowe Wax tallied an interception.
