The Hobart and William Smith Colleges tennis teams will host its annual fall community tennis day this Sunday, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. to noon at the HWS Tennis Center.

This is a free event available to all tennis families and kids in the surrounding community.  Any parents with kids who have an interest in getting more involved with the game of tennis are encouraged to sign up. Participants will be split into level-based groups, while members from the HWS tennis team will be present to coach the kids, perform live ball demonstrations, and run the games.

FLX Tennis started in the summer of 2021 and offers tennis programs for kids and adults throughout the year. FLX Tennis programs give participants the opportunity to develop their competitive and technical tennis skills. An emphasis is placed on developing a child’s communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. At the heart of every program offered is a fun sport for kids, adults, and families to play together in a level-based, inclusive environment.
