Authorities have given an update on the person involved in a pursuit that happened in Schuyler County on Wednesday.
Jason B Boswell, 41, of Rochester was arrested early on September 6 for a myriad of charges including second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree unlawful fleeing of a police officer in a motor vehicle.
The arrest came after Boswell failed to stop for a routine traffic stop on County Road 16 in the Town of Orange.
He subsequently led law enforcement on a chase through the Towns of Orange and Tyrone before a tire deflation device disabled his vehicle.
Once the vehicle stopped, Boswell attempted to evade capture on foot but was eventually apprehended by Sheriff’s K9 Digit.
He was arraigned in Schuyler County CAP Court and has been remanded to Schuyler County Jail without the possibility of bail, facing additional charges of second-degree reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.
