The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest of a 51-year-old Arcadia resident, Michelle Cornwell, following a warrant attempt in the town of Arcadia.
The active warrant, stemming from an unspecified violation of the family court act, was issued by the Honorable Judge Barrett on August 8, 2023.
Cornwell was detained based on the warrant and subsequently transported to the Wayne County Jail.
She is slated for arraignment before Judge Barrett in Wayne County Family Court on September 5, 2023.
