As part of a comprehensive investigation into the distribution of Fentanyl in Ontario County, the Special Investigations Division executed a search warrant on August 21 at a residence on State St in Geneva.
The operation resulted in the discovery of Fentanyl, packaging materials, and other items commonly used for the sale and distribution of narcotics.
The resident, identified as Jesus Cordero, 70, of Geneva was charged with third-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class B Felony.
Given his previous felony convictions, Cordero was arraigned in Ontario County CAP Court and held without bail.
Additional charges are pending and will be presented to the grand jury. The operation was a collaborative effort, with assistance from both the Canandaigua and Geneva Police Departments.
