The Cayuga Lake Watershed Network celebrates a significant milestone this summer with its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter-century of dedication to preserving the region’s water resources.
The organization will commemorate its legacy on Thursday, August 24, from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the Cayuga Shoreline event center.
Since its first official meeting in August 1998, the Network has positioned itself as a pivotal community figure, championing the protection of the Cayuga Lake and its tributaries.
The upcoming celebration not only revisits past achievements but also casts an eye toward future initiatives amidst a rapidly changing environment. Both members and nonmembers are invited, offering attendees an opportunity to reconnect with lake enthusiasts and delve deeper into the organization’s past endeavors and future aspirations.
