Derek Jeter will make his first Old-Timers’ Day appearance on September 9, when the Yankees hold the 75th edition of the annual event and honor the 25th anniversary of its 1998 World Series championship team.
The Hall of Fame shortstop will be joined by 28 of his former 1998 teammates, including Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada, David Cone, Andy Pettitte, Tino Martinez, and Paul O’Neill.
The event will feature traditional Old-Timers’ Day introductions and a new question-and-answer roundtable format in which the special guests can share their Yankees memories.
The introductions will begin about two hours before the Yankees scheduled 2:05 game vs. the Milwaukee Brewers.
