Deputies: Woman faces felony burglary charge after causing $3,000+ in damage

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Prattsburgh woman following a burglary investigation.

Miranda Elwell, 29, is accused of entering a residence and stealing property in March.


Deputies said the value of the property exceeded $3,000. As result, Elwell was charged with felony counts of grand larceny and burglary.

She was arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date.
