The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Arkport man after a person was threatened with a gun.
Anthony Carpenter, 26, was arrested after deputies responded to a report of an individual threatening another person with a gun in Dansville.
It’s alleged that Carpenter violated a court order of protection, entering a residence, and placed the victim in fear of injury by threatening them with a weapon.
Carpenter was charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree menacing, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Two of the charges are felony counts, deputies added.
Carpenter was arraigned and held on $500 cash bail.
