Byrne Dairy opening 71st location in Cortland

Byrne Dairy & Deli, the New York-based convenience store chain, is expanding its reach in the state with the opening of its 71st store in Cortland. The new location, at 224 Port Watson Street, is set to open to the public on Wednesday, July 19, at 6 a.m. The official inauguration, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, is planned for Tuesday, July 25, at 10 a.m., featuring the City of Cortland’s Mayor, Scott Steve.

The new Byrne Dairy & Deli store promises a comprehensive shopping experience, including a full-service deli, bakery, ice cream stand, and fuel station offering both diesel and regular gas. “Our goal is to provide the community with a comprehensive and convenient shopping experience. From our fresh deli offerings to our delectable bakery treats and premium ice cream, there’s something for everyone,” said Christian Brunelle, Senior Vice President at Byrne Dairy & Deli.

In line with the store’s opening, the company will be closing its legacy location at 117-117 ½ Groton Ave. The closure is part of Byrne Dairy & Deli’s commitment to continually improve its services and offerings for the betterment of the community.
