The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Arcadia man he became physical with officers following a domestic incident.
On Saturday a little before midnight, deputies arrested Rodney Goodrich Jr., 36, following an investigation.
He’s accused of grabbing a woman by the neck, applying pressure, thereby preventing her from breathing. He’s also accused of shoving the woman to the ground several times- and taking her phone- preventing her from calling 911.
Once police were on-scene, he resisted arrest and was forcefully taken into custody after an altercation with deputies.
He’s been charged with harassment, criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing, and resisting arrest.
He was processed at the Wayne County Jail. The charges will be answered at a later date.
